Ghost Hunting-Or Are Ghosts Hunting You?

It's something that has really gotten under my skin lately. The thoughts of this subject have really been constantly pounded into my brain. What if? A common question, but yet a question that has me wondering.

As a avid ghost hunter or Paranormal Investigator, which ever term you prefer, I constantly pursue ghosts or other Paranormal entities. My job is to debunk or prove that the paranormal realm exists. This has lead me into some deep questioning, with answers I don't know if I'll ever find out.

As I think about it more and more, I have begun to wonder, since I do participate in ghost hunting, I'm getting the feeling that I may have become the hunted. Really sit back and think about it. You hunt for ghosts and if ghosts can be as intelligent as we believe them to be, why wouldn't they pursue those who are looking for them.

If I put myself in a situation as a desperate soul, who perhaps has unfinished business or must relay a message to an individual before I move on, wouldn't I pursue those who are looking for ghosts, such as a ghost hunter. It would be easier for me to relay my message to someone that is willing to listen than to an individual that isn't listening, wouldn't it.

I'm really disturbed about the possibilities that could exists, but after all, I've chosen the path I have chosen to live. I really can't imagine at how many lost souls are around me at this point as I write this, there could possibly be many, but since I refuse to participate in any investigation in my own home, I shall not know for sure. (This is a family pack, it's home, my refuge, things are better left unknown, at least where I sleep)

Yes, ever since I have participated in ghost hunting I have had strange occurrences in my own home, such as Televisions coming on for no reason or anyone to do it, cabinets opening up by them selves, shadows, and the occasional strange and unusual smells. I do attribute these to my contacts with the dead through the art of ghost hunting, but I will not clarify or perform the act of hunting in my home, if they got something to say they'll follow me and tell me on my next hunt.

I feel that since I pursue the dead, I have essentially put a target on my back, a target that somehow attracts a following, not of the living, but of the dead. Even though the pure thought of having a unknown amount of entities around me all wanting there voices heard seems a little disturbing, the fact of the matter is I can accept that, as long as I do not acknowledge it in my own home. Remember, My refuge, My home, My sanity. I'm strict and I have boundaries, I do not like to be tested.

The best resort to fend of  unwanted visitors....DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE IT! They will get the hint!! At Least this has worked for me in my own home....

I know that my search for the unknown may bring me unpleasant things at times, that's part of the game. I do have an extreme interest if this may seem possible for others who participate in ghost hunts. How many times have you felt you have been tagged, and began to feel like YOU have become the hunted?

Really, think about it, what have your experiences been since you started practicing ghost hunting? Have YOU noticed a change if your home?

Warning Ghost Hunters, If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen...What will you do when you become the hunted?
