Ghostlytrue's-Top Ten Classic Horror Movies of All Time!
I remember it like it was yesterday. Childhood would not be complete without the introduction to horror movies. These movies always forced us to sleep with our parents for weeks, and the nightmares, it simply scared the crap out of us.
I'm sure everyone has their own top horror movie that they remember that was the one that put the fear into them as a child. The Horror film, even though they may have been corny or low budget, were enough to imprint a long lasting memory.
There were so many. Popular and classic horror movies such as Nightmare on Elm Street, Amityville Horror, Friday the 13th, Poltergeist, Rocky Horror Picture, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Alien, and Halloween....
1.) Amityville Horror-As a child, no other horror movie spooked me as much as this one did. Most of the other Horror movies seemed almost to fake to be real and never effected me as this one did. The ghost story of the Amityville house, creeped me, and still longs as my number one.
2.) Exorcist-Another movie that really put the fear into me as a child. Nothing is more disturbing that a demonic entity taking over the a young girl. The stairway scene was one of the most disturbing scene I have ever scene and as a child, I began to hate stairways because of it....
3.) Friday the 13th-Jason, the classic killer. Movie did not disturb me as much when I was home, but during camping trips, O my, I always looked for a Jason type character to emerge from the bushes....
